Hello! Welcome to my little corner of the internet. Make yourself at home and look around. If there's anything that piques your interest, drop me a line below.
I graduated from the University of Waterloo with a B.Math in Statistics, Computer Science minor, Co-op option. Wanting more of a challenge and a change in scenery, I went on to pursue a Master's in Computational Statistics and Machine Learning from University College London. Since returning from England, I've applied my data science skills across a variety of industries: higher education, technology and media.
I love using data science techniques to solve business problems and getting my hands dirty with the data to uncover insight. But I get the most satisfaction when these insights are turned into action that can help benefit the business. Over the years, I've had the privilege to work cross-functionally with many talented teams to find data-driven solutions to tough business questions.
I love sharing what I've learned and have had the opportunity to do so in various conferences. If you're looking for a speaker, please reach out. I'd be interested to learn more.
One of my other interests is teaching others. I've had several mentors over the course of my career, some formal, some informal, some don't even know they're my mentors, but all of them have helped shape my career. If you're looking to get into the data science field and need some guidance, check out my mentoring services.
I've independently and collaboratively completed projects spanning different topics in the fields of statistics, machine learning and data mining.
